Upon insurance verification of an individual patient’s benefits, how do I update the benefits remaining for my patient?

Step to Update Insurance Benefits:

1. To update a patient's remaining Deductible or Remaining Maximum, from the Patient Overview screen, click the appropriate insurance plan (Primary or Secondary) to access the Add/Edit Dental Plan screen.
2. Change the “XXX Rem.” fields to reflect the correct insurance coverage remaining amounts. 
3. The “XXX Ded.” and “XXX Max.” fields are grayed and cannot be changed from the individual patient screen.
4.  Values in the “Family Rem.” fields will be updated in all family members of the account upon using the option to Save.
5. Click the Save button to confirm your change. 

Secondary insurance benefits can be changed in the same manner.
