Summary:
When looking for insights into production, it can be hard to to know which options are best for your practice. This FAQ addresses the different options your practice has for entering goals into Denticon and how to best know where to find your insights for predicting production and setting future goals.
Where in Denticon can I enter my targets for future production values?
There are two menus that offer this option. You can find them by clicking the dropdown menus below:
Option 1: Setup > Providers > Provider Goals > [select office] > [select month/year] > [edit provider details] > Save.
Option 2: Setup > Providers > Per Office Settings > [select provider] > [select location] > Production > Edit > [edit by month] > Save.
Are these menus related? Do they impact each other?
While these menus can both be used to make projections about goals your office have, making an entry on one does not change the details on the other.
Both tools can be useful for your office in different ways; we recommend learning more from the articles linked at the bottom of this page.
What do these menus do for my practice?
Both of these menus allow for your office to use tools elsewhere in Denticon.
Option 1 impacts the details of the reports in Denticon Practice Analytics. If you'd like more information to review with your team in the Morning Huddle, your admins can update this Setup menu the day before and it will be ready for your team the next morning!
Option 2 impacts details of the Reports module of Denticon. Reports > Daily Reports > Scheduled Production report relies on this information to present its insights by dividing the Production value from the Setup menu by the working days for a provider to calculate the Estimated Prod. (Estimated Production) column.
