Introduction:
Denticon allows users to setup a dental insurance plan as a locked plan. The "Edit Plan Info" button on the dental insurance plan setup screen will be greyed out if a plan is marked as a locked plan. Only users with the necessary security right assigned will be able to edit a locked plan.
Prerequisites:
Any user that should be able to edit a locked plan should have the security right "Setup-Insurance Plans Screen Edit Locked Plan" assigned to their security group.
Step-by-step instructions:
- Go to Setup>Security>Users, select the user that should be able to edit locked plans.
- View the "Group Memberships" tab to determine what security group the user belongs to.
- Setup>Security>Groups, select the group that will need the right assigned.
- Click "Edit User Groups" button.
- Select the security right "Setup-Insurance Plans Screen Edit Locked Plan".
- Click the right facing arrow to assign the right to the group.
- Press save.
- Log out and log back in
- Setup>Dental Insurance Plans, user should now be able to access the "Edit Plan Info" button.
Additional information:
In order for security rights changes to take effect, a user will need to log out and log back in.
