Future appointments cannot be updated to one of the below statuses. This includes from Scheduler, Quickview and Add/Edit appointment
- In Reception
- Available
- In Operatory
- Missed
- Checked out
For appointments that are in the future that you know will be missed, Denticon recommends that the appointment should be rescheduled or cancelled.
When cancelling an appointment you can enter in custom cancellation reasons for selection by going to Setup>Misc Setups>Basic>Appointment Cancellation Reasons.
You can also enter the cancellation reason under the cancelation notes section.
When going to Reports>Appointment Reports> Cancelled List, the cancellation reason selected and cancellation notes will be visible on the report.
