Absolutely!
The batch claims processing feature is a function which allows the office to gather all claims in a "holding area."
Batching claims enables the office to be more efficient with claim submissions. Generating single claims one-at-a-time is inefficient. Batching claims ensures all claims get generated for processing to the insurance carriers for payment.
This allows the office to make changes before the claims are sent electronically.
Upon clicking the Transmit Claims button, Denticon performs a "double check" to validate the claims. The validation checks to ensure the claims have all necessary information, including, but not limited to:
· Patient’s missing date of birth in Patient Information screen (if patient is a self-subscriber to the insurance plan)
· Patient’s missing Social Security number of birth in Patient Information screen (if patient is a self-subscriber to the insurance plan)
· Carrier’s missing payer ID number
