Denticon is not particular regarding which appointment has the lab case indicated: impression appointment or delivery appointment. The only requirement is that one appointment is marked. The choice is up to the office.
The appointment that is marked with a lab case does have a beaker icon. As you hover over it, you will see the information that is recorded in that appointment relative to the lab case:
- the lab to which you're sending the case
- the date that you're sending the case
- the date that you've indicated the case to be back
- the date that the office received the case
Once an appointment is marked for a lab, there is a beaker icon that shows on the appointment in the scheduler screen. The beaker icon is consistent on all indications. Only when the case is marked as returned to the office will there be a difference; a check mark is indicated over the beaker.
