Overview
There are multiple configuration steps that must be completed to ensure operatories are visible (or removed) correctly in the Scheduler View. These steps include adding the operatory at the office level, assigning providers to the operatory, and updating Scheduler Views for users.
Step 1: Add the Operatory to Office Setup
Additional operatories must first be created at the office level.
- Click Setup → Office
- Select Office Setup
- Choose the appropriate Office
- Select the Operatories tab
- Click Edit
- Select Add New Operatory
- Enter the operatory name and click Save
Step 2: Assign the Operatory to Provider(s)
At least one provider must be assigned to the operatory for it to appear in Scheduler Views.
If multiple providers require access, each provider must be updated individually.
- Click Setup → Providers → Provider Setup
- Select the appropriate Provider
- Click Edit
- Select the Operatories tab
- In Available Operatories (left side), highlight the operatory
- Use the arrows to move it to Assigned Operatories (right side)
- Click Save
Step 3: Update Scheduler Views (User‑Defined Views)
Each user or office view must be updated to display or remove the operatory.
If a Scheduler View Does Not Exist
- Click Setup → Scheduler View
- Click Add New View
- Enter a View Name
- Select Provider Name and Office Name
- Select the desired Operatory Name and click > to assign
- Ensure Default No. of Columns reflects the correct number of operatories
- Click Save
If a Scheduler View Already Exists
- Click Setup → Scheduler View
- Select the existing User View
- Click Edit
- To remove an operatory, select it and click < to unassign
- To add an operatory, select it and click > to assign
- Click Save
Important Notes
- An operatory must exist at the Office Setup level and be assigned to a Provider before it can be added to any Scheduler View.
- Operatories with appointment history cannot be deleted but can be removed from Scheduler Views.
- Changes may require refreshing the Scheduler screen to appear.
