Introduction:
Real-Time Eligibility (RTE) is a feature that allows the ability to perform eligibility checks for a patient’s insurance plan. However, if you no longer need this feature, you can easily turn it off on your device.
Steps to turn off:
In the Office Setup - change the number of days to 0 in the field # of days before Appt to check for eligibility, Go to:
- Click Setup > Offices > Office Setup
- Select the Office
- Click the Advanced Tab
- Edit to change the # of Days Before Appt. to Check Eligibility and set it to 0
- Press Save to confirm
*DentalXChange (DXC) services are billed directly by DXC, independent of whether the feature is enabled or actively used within Denticon. If a client no longer wishes to continue with DXC services, they should aslo be directed to contact DXC directly to review their account and discuss billing or cancellation options.
