When adding a new office, there are several items to consider. Some items are within the Denticon program. Other items require the office’s interaction with third party vendors which partner with Denticon for integration.
WITHIN DENTICON PROGRAM
When adding a new office, users have the option to copy the following from one “master” location to the new location. This ensures the new office has the same setup as the original office.

If an existing user needs access to the new office:
- add new office to the user and assign security group(s) for new office to the user (Setup / Security / Users)
If an existing provider needs assigned to the new office:
- add new office to the provider (Setup / Providers / Provider Setup)
- assign treatment days and hours for new office to the provider (Setup / Providers / Provider Setup- Schedule tab)
- assign operatories for new office to the provider (Setup / Providers / Provider Setup- Operatories tab)
ASSOCIATED DENTICON FEATURES
If Denticon generates the existing office’s documents, and now should generate the documents for the new location, Denticon should be notified as soon as the new office is input into the account.

When adding a new office, the office should consult with these third parties to ensure the desired integration is established for the new location.

- Once the new DentalXChange account is established, the Denticon account must be updated with the DentalXChange login information (Setup / Offices … Setup tab … EHG username, EHG password, confirm EHG password)
- Claims are not able to be processed until the office integrates the DentalXChange activation within Denticon.
