We have a copy of our data, obtained through the data download function. The data doesn’t look like the Denticon screens; therefore, we can’t read it very easily. What is the purpose of the data download?

The data download is intended:

• For maintaining a legal archive of your office's PMS data.
• For converting to another Practice Management System.
• For a dental organization to generate specific reports on its own, according to the dental organization’s specific requirements for information outside of Denticon’s programmed reports using a Database engine such as SQL.

The data is not intended to be viewed on its own. It is a database export and needs to be imported back into a database engine for queries and reports to be generated from it.
