NOTE: Data downloads will provide the office of raw programming data. It is not intended to provide an exact duplication of the patient records as the user views them within Denticon.
The day following the data download request, the user may re-access the screen to pick up the data file.
Click the word “Utilities” and choose the “Denticon Download” option from the drop-down box.
Click the Download button.
For the data pickup, the user who requested the data download must be the same user to retrieve the data file.
The password is the user’s Denticon password.
The password is case sensitive.
The same instructions regarding the password are included on the download page at the time of retrieval.

Download file is an .zip file which can be opened with WinZip or 7-Zip.

All files are zipped with AES 128 encryption with a password.

Zip file's password is same as requested user's Denticon password (Case sensitive)

While the download is compressed and delivered in an .txt file, it must be extracted before it is readable by the office.
The file should be saved to the user’s computer, converting the file to an Excel .csv format.
Once saved as a .csv file, the file may be opened by the user. At this time, the file may also be written to a CD if a backup is desired.
