If you hover over the red "X" in the Validation section of the batch claims, it will provide you with more information regarding what's causing the error.
In the Batch Claims Processing screen, the red/white "X" sign with the message "GEN: Record Missing" most often indicates that the patient information does not have a birth date and/or a social security number recorded for the patient. This section is different than the subscriber information screen.
To correct:

access the patient record

Edit the patient information
-
ensure that both the birth date and the social security number recorded for the patient

save the change
-
re-access the Utilities/Batch Claims Processing screen
-
click the date of the error claim, and delete it

re-generate the insurance claim to the screen (Create Batch Claims)
-
transmit the claim
