When an insurance claim is saved from the Primary Dental Insurance Claim screen, it is held in Utilities/Batch Claims Processing until further action by a user. From this screen, you can send the claims electronically to the claims clearinghouse (DentalXChange).
To ensure that all claims have been generated to this screen, first click the Create Batch Claims button. Once the list is generated, the claims can be submitted from Denticon to DentalXChange via the Transmit Claims button. Upon successfully claim submission from Denticon to DentalXChange, the patient's ledger is updated to read Pri Claim-Sent ($xx.xx), which allows you to post insurance reimbursement to the claim.
After claims are sent, more processing information can be obtained on the office’s DentalXChange account through the “Utilities/Eclaims Management“ link in Denticon.
