Our patient accessed the Online Patient Registration link and updated the medical history. How does our office update the patient’s record to show the newly updated medical history?

When a patient updates the medical history via the Online Patient Registration link, the update should be done by the office:

• Click the word “Patient”
• Select “Online Registered Patients - Existing”
• Select the desired patient name entry
• Access the patient record by clicking on the blue Patient ID number. 
• Click the “Medical Alerts” hyperlink
• Click the Import Online Medical History: date time button (the date and time presented represents the timestamp of when the patient updated the medical history online)
• Click the Save button
• Notes should be added in Patient Notes screen

When the 'New' Medical Alert(s) are imported, the existing medical alert(s) will be overwritten and replaced. 

The patient’s Overview screen will indicate the date and time that the office staff implemented the patient’s changed medical history.
