When a patient updates the medical history via the Online Patient Registration link, the update should be done by the office:
- Click the word “Patient”
- Select “Online Registered Patients - Existing”
- Select the desired patient name entry
- Access the patient record by clicking on the blue Patient ID number.
- Click the “Medical Alerts” hyperlink
- Click the Import Online Medical History: date time button (the date and time presented represents the timestamp of when the patient updated the medical history online)
- Click the Save button
- Notes should be added in Patient Notes screen
When the 'New' Medical Alert(s) are imported, the existing medical alert(s) will be overwritten and replaced.
The patient’s Overview screen will indicate the date and time that the office staff implemented the patient’s changed medical history.
Please Note: Upon submission, If no changes are made in the demographics or medical alerts section of the Online Registration forms, Go to the "Patient -> Medical History" screen.
-- The alert should display with the below message.
"The patient did not update any medical information on the questionnaire. Clicking the "Import Online Medical History" button will display the Medical History on record."
