Sometimes, an employee accesses the Time Clock function and fails to punch in at the appropriate time. The authorized office staff is unable to adequately correct the error.
When the “Invalid Times” error message occurs, it means that the office is trying to edit only the clock-in time when there is not yet a clock-out time for the user.
To edit Time Clock records when there is not yet a clock-out time –
- Manually input an anticipated clock-out time
- Edit the clock-in time for accuracy
- Click the Save button to capture the changes to the employee’s Time Clock records
If the incorrect anticipated clock-out time is indicated, the affected user should not attempt to clock-out via the Time Clock function. Instead, the affected user’s time clock records should be edited for accuracy by an authorized office staff member.
