Some McAfee® users might not be able to get to the Internet or experience problems with Internet Explorer. A reason for the problem is an issue (conflict) with one of McAfee's updates. To correct the problem, McAfee® tech support suggests to uninstall McAfee and then reinstall the program.
In order to reinstall the user will need to log into your McAfee account and obtain the software at http://us.mcafee.com/. Alternatively, a call can be made to McAfee’s tech support at 866-736-3971 for assistance. McAfee’s support hours of operation are 8:00am to 8:00pm Central time.
