Details
Following the NSA's identification of critical PHP vulnerabilities, Planet DDS conducted a thorough review of its platforms, websites, and supply chain. That review confirmed that Denticon, Cloud 9, Apteryx, and Legwork are not exposed to these vulnerabilities.
Denticon and the Planet DDS Website
Denticon does not use PHP. The Planet DDS corporate website does use PHP; however, it has been patched to the current version. The corporate website and Denticon are separate systems, and the website's use of PHP has no impact on Denticon.
Legwork (Practice Marketing)
A mitigation is in place to address the known PHP vulnerability risk for Legwork. No disruption is expected for the vast majority of customers. However, if your practice has IP whitelisting configured for Planet DDS IP addresses, you may experience a connectivity issue as a result of the mitigation. Please contact Planet DDS Support if you are experiencing a connectivity issue and we will assist you.
If your organization requires written confirmation of these findings for compliance or security audit purposes, please contact Planet DDS Support directly so we can provide the appropriate documentation.
