Carestream / Kodak Test Program
The Carestream test software can be found in the following location:
64-bit
C:\Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Trophy\Acquisition\AcquisitionSampleAdvanced.exe
32-bit
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Trophy\Acquisition\AcquisitionSampleAdvanced.exe
Default Location of Carestream Driver Files:
Acquisition SDK path (IXDLL misc. settings for Kodak Universal)
C:\Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Trophy\Acquisition - 64bit machine
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Trophy\Acquisition - 32bit
Input XML is not strictly UTF-8 encoded
This is caused by a special character in the patient’s information that is not within the UTF-8 encoding standards. Ensure all special characters in patients names are correct in the practice’s PMS software. You can correct this by having the practice fully re-enter the patient’s name (not copy/paste) in the PMS.
The panos that are returned when the UAC prompt appears may also return as white images. This is a good indication the execution method would need to be changed.
Images Disappear When Toggling On Kodak RTF
Cause: Kodak redistributable missing from computer
Solution: Download, uncompress, and deliver KodakSDK folder to install folder
Compiled Volume Directory Not Found
CS9600, CS8200, and CS8100 Evo all suffer from inconsistent behavior and CT typically fails to return. Further work is needed by Engineering to repair these integrations. We recommend offices follow these steps https://apteryximaging.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4407896506267-Export-CBCTs-as-DICOM-Format-in-Common-3rd-Party-Software to export the image and then use CT Importer within XVCapture to ingest the volume as a single file multi-frame CT or directly upload the CT to Apteryx if the patient metadata in the CT volume matches the intended patient metadata provided to Apteryx by the office’s PM software.

Try adding adaptive normalize at 1%, 2%, and sharpening at 15x15 factor of 20 to PCFs.
If contrast is too high, adjust normalize filter to %1, %1 or %2, %2.

UAC Prompt Prevents Image Processing
For offices that are locked down and have UAC prompts that prevent DicomConvertToFp.exe (for 2D images), or SampleBasic.exe (CTs) from running after capture, try adjusting the execution method to ‘Simple Process’ within the Kodak extension’s miscellaneous settings.
