Overview
Denticon now includes a native Sunbit integration, giving practices a second patient financing option alongside CareCredit. Sunbit is a buy-now, pay-later financing provider that allows patients to split the cost of dental care into manageable installments with an immediate decision at the point of care.
The Sunbit experience in Denticon is designed to match the CareCredit workflow, so staff who already use CareCredit will find Sunbit familiar from day one. Practices can enable Sunbit, CareCredit, or both simultaneously — allowing staff to present multiple financing options within the same consistent checkout flow.

Enabling Sunbit at Your Practice
Sunbit must be activated before staff can offer it to patients. This is a one-time setup performed by an administrator.
Step 1: Connect Your Sunbit Account
Navigate to the Integrations or Payment Settings area in Denticon and locate the Sunbit section. Enter your Sunbit practice credentials to link your account.
Step 2: Enable Sunbit for Financing Checkout
Once connected, toggle Sunbit on as an available financing option. If your practice also uses CareCredit, both can be enabled simultaneously.
Step 3: Confirm the Integration is Active
Verify that Sunbit appears as an option in the patient financing workflow before using it at checkout.

Offering Sunbit Financing to a Patient
Step 1: Open the Patient's Account at Checkout
Navigate to the patient's account and proceed to the payment or checkout workflow.
Step 2: Select Financing
Choose the financing option to initiate the prescreening process. If both Sunbit and CareCredit are enabled, both will appear as options.
Step 3: Run Prescreening
Select Sunbit and initiate prescreening. Denticon will automatically pass the patient's information to Sunbit — no manual re-entry required.
Step 4: Present the Financing Decision
Sunbit returns an immediate decision. If approved, present the available financing terms to the patient.
Step 5: Complete the Transaction
Once the patient selects a plan and confirms, the financing is applied and checkout is complete.
Sunbit vs. CareCredit: Using Both
Practices that offer both financing options can present them side by side in the same checkout flow. There is no need to switch between separate systems or workflows.

- Sunbit is a Tech Partner integration. Financing decisions, terms, and patient eligibility are determined by Sunbit, not Planet DDS.
- Patient data is passed securely. Information shared with Sunbit during prescreening is transmitted via the integration and is not stored or modified by Denticon.
- Financing terms vary by patient. Approval amounts, interest rates, and installment options are set by Sunbit based on their underwriting criteria.
