Remove the Sopro.XTriggerDLL from the XVCapture folder. This breaks the ability to use the camera’s button but, it allows the image to return to XVCapture.
The camera’s button can be fixed again by contacting Sopro. They have a program called SoproSnap (C:\Program Files (x86)\Snap) that they install with a patch for XVCapture.
Snap can be installed from the file below. However, it still won’t work without a patch file specifically for XVCapture
Directions from Acteon:
Navigate to: C:\Apteryx\XVCapture
REMOVE
a. SoproTouch.XTriggerDLL
b. Sopro.XTriggerDLL
You MIGHT need to change to SECURITY to Everyone on the C:\Apteryx Folder
Install Camera Driver – #1 - SOPRO Cameras driver - Windows 10-2004 64-bit Provided by Sopro
Run snap installer - #2 - Setup SoproSnap Sopro Snap Download
Copy Apteryx hot key file to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Snap\Apteryx.exe
Program Snap to look like below PIC – Click on snap bottom right system tray
Inside of Aptreyx Direct Video Capture window you need to make sure camera button is - EM2820 Chipset
This is the Apteryx AutoHotKey file that should also be ran along side the SoproSnap applet
