Administrators can select and set medical alerts to also appear as flash alerts. This brings greater
attention to a patient’s condition.
• Setup > Medical Setup > Medical Alerts
• Check the “Flash Alert” box next to the conditions to be set.
• (**) indicates that the item in the list will be set as an alert.
• The Proof/finalize button must be clicked in order for the alerts to be saved.
Note that when the FLASH medical alerts pop up for a Patient, they cannot be deactivated like a regular
flash alert. The alert will appear each time the Patient Overview is viewed for a patient with these
