If a patient is not eligible for insurance benefits (verified by your office or with real time eligibility), a flash alert can appear when the patient’s record is viewed. This serves as a reminder to follow up with the patient.
The flash alert will no longer appear if the patient is marked as eligible or if the alert is deactivated by a user in the pop-up window.
To have these flash alerts appear for your patients, an administrator can edit the setting at:
• Setup > Account Info
• Set “Show Patient Flash Alerts if Insurance is Not Eligible” to “Yes”
