The Office Assignment setup section is found under Setup - Offices - Office Assignment.
The purpose of the Office Assignment setup section is to control which setup items will be available per office.
For each of these sections, Denticon offers the ability to copy the setup items from another office to the current office. This is one way to utilize the model office.
Procedures
Procedure List
- Options: Procedure code categories
- Assigning procedure codes will make them available for use in the individual office. This may allow for a more broad or narrow range of procedure codes depending on what is appropriate.
- Use the code category drop down to navigate between the different procedure code categories, then use the arrows in the center of the screen. To move individual items back and forth, use the single arrow. To move an entire section back and forth, use the double arrows.
Denticon can be customized per office to include or exclude procedure codes that the office may or may not perform. ‘Available Procedures Codes’ will not be usable in the office.
Explosion Codes
Explosion Code List
- Options: Available explosion codes
- Explosion codes are a group of procedure codes that are typically done in conjunction with one another. Grouping these codes together decreases data entry by eliminating the need to enter each code separately.
- Assigning Explosion Codes will make them available for use in the individual office. The master list of explosion codes created under Setup - Procedure Codes - Explosion Codes houses a complete list, but each office can have their own unique set from the options available. Items listed under the ‘Assigned Explosion Codes’ section will be available for selection in the office; those listed under ‘Available Explosion Codes’ will not be available for this office.
