A Provider’s Controlled Substance Number (CS#) is now required for prescriptions in the District of
Columbia (DC).
The CS# can be entered at Setup > Providers > Provider Setup > [Info] tab > Edit.
Update CS# field and Save.
Note: If an Office has an address with the State set to DC, the CS# will be included on the Prescription.
