If you are using Acteon Sopix IO Digital X-ray sensors there are a couple of settings within the driver software that we can set to improve the quality of your exposures. To get to these settings, you will need to go into Dentiray Capture and start an exam so that the Sensor Driver interface box appears.
1. Orientation: If your images are coming out in the wrong orientation, please use the Acteon Sensor driver interface to adjust the orientation as shown below. The Bottom segment is the orientation indicator that works for Dentiray Capture.
2. Quality: If your images are light and fuzzy, please select the configuration gear on the Acteon Sensor driver interface. There are 3 filter presents, X1, X2, and X3. Our recommended setting is X1. If this doesn't work for you, please try X2 or X3 to see if that gives the quality of image you are looking for.
