Dexis Sensors are rebranded Gendex Sensors
First you'll need to check to make sure the correction files have been added to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Gendex\GXS700_CorrectionFiles.
If they are not there, you'll need to add them to this folder and reboot the computer. Each sensor has 3 associated files named for the serial number of the sensor.
If you cannot locate your Correction Files, only Kavo can provide them to you. They can be reached at 888.275.5286
Sometimes even if the correction files are in the right location, to make the GXPicture Driver see the sensor properly, we need to reboot the computer with the sensor plugged in so it can be detected by the driver as the driver loads with Windows.
Typically this only needs to be done once on each computer for each sensor that giving this error. After a successful reboot and ready, it should continue to function with just plugging it in going forward.
Upon Reboot, your GX Picture Sensor icon in the system tray near the Windows clock should turn green. That means the sensor is detecting and ready for use.
If the error repeats after verifying the correction files are in the right location rebooting, that can indicate other hardware problems with the USB, USB Hub if one is used, or even the Sensor itself. If that is the case, you'll want to reach out directly to Kavo at 888.275.5286 for hardware troubleshooting.
