For a dental practice which has multiple office locations, and wishes to generate the report for only the Responsible Party accounts within the active office location
Practices should always generate the “by home office” aging reports. These reports provide the organization a true reporting of which accounts owe money, based on the home office location of the Responsible Party. For a multi-location dental organization, these are the reports recommended reports.
- Reports / Monthly Reports / Aging by Home Office
- Reports / Monthly Reports / Aging by Home Office > Select Include Balance Status

Denticon uses the word "Aging" also known as “A/R” or "Accounts Receivable" report that shows the balance for each Responsible Party/Account/Family. The balance reflects a patient portion and an insurance portion where applicable. The report also shows an aging of how long that balance has been open or owed. The responsible party balance is comprised of all the balances of the patients within the Responsible Party Account (family).
Note: Responsible Party ID is not the same as a Patient ID and only the Responsible Party reflects on the A/R reports.
Accounts that have amounts due to the dental office are considered "aged" within standard times:
- "Current aging" means the account balance is 0-29 days due to the office
- "Over 30 aging" means the account balance is 30-59 days due to the office
- "Over 60 aging" means the account balance is 60-89 days due to the office
- "Over 90 aging" means the account balance is 90-119 days due to the office
- "Over 120 aging" means the account balance is over 120 days due to the office
Aging begins when the procedure is entered as "completed"
The Last Statement Date indicated on the report is based on the date of last update statement performed via Reports / Statements / Update Statement Dates button
