When adding or editing a patient’s record, they can be designated as an “Ortho Patient.”
From the Patient Overview screen, Click next to the Patient ID number.
There is a checkbox at the top of the Add/Edit Patient screen. Place a checkmark in the checkbox and then click save. A 'Ortho' icon will appear by the patient’s name.
If a patient has been designated an ortho patient on their record, the ortho icon that appears on the record now also appears in the search result for easy identification as shown below.
When a routing slip is printed for these patients with the ortho flag, a section with their ortho plan details is included.
