When a patient’s insurance is changed and there are open claims, Denticon alerts the user that there are open claims and give the user a prompt to resubmit with the new insurance if needed.
If the user does not resubmit the claims when the prompt presents, an icon will be displayed on the patient overview to indicate that the new insurance has not been billed. Users can click on this icon to rebill.
Please Note: Open claims with partial payments from the previous insurance will not be listed for rebilling.
