Users can quickly add a patient in Denticon and come back later to modify the account.
Denticon has several ways to 'Quick Save' a New Patient without having to enter all of the patient information. You will only need the required information to use this feature.
There are four options to use this feature
- Click the word “Patient”, then choose the “Add New Patient” option from the drop-down menu
- Click the single-person icon in the picture toolbar
- Click the"Add New Patient" button (available only from the “Search Patient or Responsible Party” screen)
- Click the Add Patient button (available in the ‘Edit Appointment’ screen)
At the bottom of the Add New Patient screen, there is a Quick Save button
Clicking the Quick Save button will trigger a popup window, which will have you enter the required information.
Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory fields.
NOTE: Denticon recommends always searching the active and inactive patient records before considering adding a potentially duplicated patient record. Duplicate patient records cannot be merged into one unique record.
