AppointNow
- The dental office sets up the provider’s schedule with the desired scheduler production
- The dental office inputs the office’s unique HTML code within the office’s website which is located on the “Help / Help & Support” screen
- Via the office’s website, patients are able to reserve available appointment times in the dental office’s schedule
- Via an appointment icon, the dental office is able to easily view the online appointments
- Via the “reports / group reports / appointment reports,” the dental office is able to easily understand the online appointments
Online Patient Registration
Click the word “Help” and choose the “Help & Support” options from the drop-down box.
The office’s unique HTML code appears in the Online Patient Registration Link section.
Click the Copy button, and place the copied code into your website’s programming.
Patients will enter:
• Last Name
• First Name
• Birthdate
If a matching patient record is found, the patient can edit their existing record. If no record is found, the
patient will continue with a new registration.
NOTE: If your account has more than one location, each location will have its own link
information. The code information is specific for each location. Please ensure the appropriate
location is indicated in the Office field.
Electronic Signature Pad
- The dental office has the ability to use an electronic signature pad to capture signatures in:
- Patient progress notes
- Patient consent letters
- Patient medical history
- Patient printed treatment plans
Digital Imaging / X-Rays
- The dental office has the ability to utilize separate imaging software in order to capture and review patient x-ray images
Graphic Restorative Chart
- The dental office has an ability to input:
- patient’s pre-existing dental conditions and treatment
- patient’s treatment plan
Periodontal Chart
- The dental office has an ability to input a patient’s perio chart:
- Graphic perio chart
- Analog perio chart
Progress Notes
- The dental office has an ability to input a picklist set of items for incorporation into Notes Macros
- The dental office has an ability to input Notes Macro templates that incorporate:
- Picklists
- Question prompts
- Progress Notes are entered into the patient record, and may be electronically signed
Electronic Documents
- The dental office has an ability to maintain electronic patient documents:
- Upload an existing digital file
- Scan a new digital file
E-Claims
- The dental office has an ability to easily and efficiently create all claims in one batch
- All claims are able to be quickly electronically transmitted to DentalXChange for processing to insurance carriers
Denticon Pay or Open Edge Credit Card Processing
- The dental office has the ability to integrate credit card transactions for easy patient payments
Patient Portal
- Via the office’s website, Responsible Parties are able to access a digital account for:
- Update medical history
- Online credit card payment (NOTE: requires usage of TSYS/TransFirst or Open Edge credit card processing)
- Review of ledger transactions
- Review of EHR information (NOTE: requires usage of EHR feature)
