There is no difference in the functionality of the Save button and the E-Claim button.
The only difference is the wording in the claim’s description within:
- Ledger
- “Utilities / Batch Claims Processing” screen
The Save button provides the claim description “Pri Claim – Created, Not Sent ($xx.xx)”. The user will be auto-directed to the Ledger screen.
The E-Claim button provides the claim description “Pri Claim – Recreated ($xx.xx)”. The user will be auto-directed to the “Utilities / Batch Claims Processing” screen as an encouragement to transmit the claim.
Regardless of selecting save or E-Claim, you must still transmit the claim from the Batch Claims Processing screen to complete the process.
