The “No Correspondence” selection in a patient record indicates if the patient wishes to receive reminders about his/her recall situation.
Marking a patient record as “No Correspondence” will exclude a patient from receiving any recall postcards created in a batch mode within Denticon.
Marking a patient record as “No Correspondence” will not exclude a patient from inclusion on recall reports created in Denticon.
Examples:
· If the office generates a list of patients who have an appointment within the report criteria (based on a Denticon appointment report), and the patient with “No Correspondence” has an appointment next week, that patient will appear on the report.
· If the office generates a list of patients who have “recall due, and scheduled” within the report criteria (based on a Denticon recall report), and the patient with “No Correspondence” is eligible to be included on the report (based on the patient’s “Recall Due Dates” screen), that patient will appear on the report.
· If the office generates a list of patients who have “recall due, and not yet scheduled” within the report criteria (based on a Denticon recall report), and the patient with “No Correspondence” is eligible to be included on the report (based on the patient’s “Recall Due Dates” screen), that patient will appear on the report.
· If the office generates postcards for patients who have “recall due, and scheduled” within the report criteria (based on a Denticon recall report), and the patient with “No Correspondence” is eligible to be included on the report (based on the patient’s “Recall Due Dates” screen), that patient will not appear on the generated postcards.
· If the office generates postcards for patients who have “recall due, and not yet scheduled” within the report criteria (based on a Denticon recall report), and the patient with “No Correspondence” is eligible to be included on the report (based on the patient’s “Recall Due Dates” screen), that patient will not appear on the generated postcards.
Another criterion within the patient record to consider is the Patient Type. In order to exclude the patient from various reports and batch letters, the patient should have a patient type indicating “No Correspondence.”
Examples:
· When batch Letters are generated, patients who are marked “No Correspondence” are eligible to not receive a Letter. To indicate those patients when generating batch letters, ensure the “Exclude Patients with No Correspondence” is selected in the report criteria section.
· When patient-related reports are generated, patients who are marked “No Correspondence” may be excluded from the report according to the report criteria indicated by the office staff.
·
When patient-related reports are generated, patients who are marked “No Correspondence” may be isolated for the report according to the report criteria indicated by the office staff.
If the office uses a third party vendor to generate appointment and recall reminder emails and/or text messages on behalf of the office, the criteria and digital file information supplied to the third party by your office is determined by the office (according to the above information).
