Determine the patient to be moved.
Access the patient’s record in the Patient’s Home Office location.
Click the word “Patient” and choose the “Change Patient Home Office” option from the drop-down box. In the “Change home office to” field, select the appropriate office location for the Patient’s and for the Responsible Party’s Home Office.
Click the Save button to complete the patient move to the new location.
Switch to the appropriate Responsible Party’s Home Office location.
Access the patient record.
Click the Edit button in the Patient Information section of the Patient Overview. Click the Move Patient button.
Ensure the “Move Patient ‘Xxxx, Xxxx’ to Existing Responsible Party” selection is chosen.
In Step 1, choose the desired search parameter – Last name, First name, Responsible Party ID. According the desired search parameter, indicate in the blank field the appropriate information. Click the Search button.

Step 2, select the desired account.
Click the Continue button.
Confirm the Move From (Source and Move To (Destination) information is correct.
IMPORTANT: Read the information found at the bottom of each section, and at the bottom of the screen to understand exactly what will occur during the Move Patient function.
Click the Confirm button.
Check each patient on the account to ensure the desired home office is correct, as well as applicable insurance information is correct.
If the patient wishes to remain as a patient-of-record for a different location than the Responsible Party:
Click the word “Patient” and choose the “Change Patient Home Office” option from the drop-down box. In the “Change home office to” field, select the appropriate office location for the Patient’s Home Office. Leave the Responsible Party Home Office as indicated.
Click the Save button to complete the patient move to the new desired home location.
