The error message Error Authenticating Eclaims [3] appears on the Batch Claims Processing screen whenever the office has changed the DentalXChange password, which no longer matches the information that is recorded in Denticon’s records.
As a result, the Denticon-to-DentalXChange bridge is “broken” and claims cannot be transmitted from Denticon to DentalXChange.
As long as the information recorded in one company’s records matches the information recorded in the other company’s records, claims can be successfully transmitted from Denticon to DentalXChange.
To correct, the office’s administrator should:
- Click Setup>Offices>Office Setup>
- Select the office from the list on the left
- Click the Edit Office button
- Select the “Integration” tab
- Input the new DentalXChange password in the “EDI Password” field
- Confirm the new DentalXChange password in the “Confirm EDI Password” field
- Click the Save button
Once the Office setup is updated, the Denticon-to-DentalXChange bridge will be instantly restored, and the office can successfully transmit claims.
A functioning bridge may be tested by clicking the word “Utilties” and choosing the “Eclaims Management” option from the drop-down list. If the user successfully reaches the office’s account on the DentalXChange website, the bridge is functioning properly.
