NOTE: Denticon recommends to always search the active and inactive patient records before considering to add a potentially duplicated patient record. Duplicate patient records cannot be merged into one unique record.
NOTE: Denticon recommends to inactivate “unnecessary” patient records, rather than delete patient records.
Access the duplicate record you wish to inactivate.
To inactivate a patient record:
- click the Edit button in the Patient Information area
- click the checkbox next to “Active” to remove the mark
- click the Save button to finish
NOTE: Inactive patient records may always be found by searching “Include Inactive Patients” on the “Patient / Search Patient” screen.
