When Denticon hears of this situation, we usually discover that the office backdated the payment date when the payment was entered.
All payments are allocated in the Denticon program according to the “created date” which is the date of entry.
All “Income Allocation” reports are generated for the “created by” date.
If the office alters the date by backdating the entry, the financial information on the report may be negatively affected.
Example:
“Income Allocation” reports generated for dates February 1 through February 28 will include the payment.
