Any setting within the Setup / Account Info screen is a global setting for every user and every location/office in the overall organization.
The owner/administrator of the dental organization should be aware that any user who has functional access to the screen could affect others in the organization.
While important for all dental organizations regardless of size or scope, this is, perhaps, a more important factor in multi-location dental organizations.
