The Pick List allows the user to select from a pre-defined list of items. The list may be used to help the user pick an answer from a list, instead of typing it each time. This helps the user enter information which may need to be repeated many times. Examples are:
- teeth numbers
- quadrants
- materials
The pick list may be used within these areas:
- progress notes, via the question prompt
- letters generated to a single patient, via the question prompt
- medical questionnaire
- dental questionnaire
The office’s Pick List may be setup for usage:
- click the word “Setup” and choose the “Pick List” option from the drop-down list
- click the
button
- enter a list description
- checkmark the “Active” box if the list is active for usage
- checkmark the “Multi Select” box is the list allows for multi-selection of items from the list
- enter the value of the item in the “Item” field
- click the
button to add the item to the list
- click the
button when all items have been entered
Existing Pick List may be reordered to show the more popular options on the top for ease of use.
