Feature Optimization: Refinement of an existing feature's performance or usability
Problem Statement
Dentists reviewing diagnostic images in XVWeb have less image area than necessary because non-clinical UI — specifically the button row above the iFrame and surrounding grey space — consumes vertical screen real estate. As a result, FMXs and individual images display smaller than they could, requiring dentists to zoom in or launch a separate window to evaluate images effectively.
Solution We're Delivering
XVWeb's iFrame is being updated to improve screen real estate, allowing clinical data and images to take up more screen space. This effectively eliminates the need to constantly zoom in or launch a separate window for image evaluation.
Important Changes
XVWeb now takes up the full amount of space possible when viewing within an iframe, rather than losing vertical real estate when the Patient Information toolbar is open. This eliminates the need to both scroll within the iframe to access cut-off tools, and to launch XVWeb in a new window when reviewing patient images on smaller displays.
The button to launch XVWeb in a separate window has been moved to the toolbar at the top of XVWeb's interface.
