Final (delta, differential, catch-up) conversion: converts images in old imaging software from start date of initial conversion up to date of the final conversion. Much quicker than initial conversion. Client should be live in new software as of the start of the final conversion.
IMPORTANT - All the same options, paths, and prefix used for the initial conversion should also be used for the final. It's critical that we do not change the target or database/images paths, or the location of the converter itself. This will result in duplicate images.
-
Pre-Conversion Check
Confirm you are connected to the same server as documented in the existing Zendesk ticket
-
Confirm old converter folder exists from initial conversion, and is in same location
You can check the original path of the converter by going to \converter\logs and checking the Results log. Towards the top will be a \converter\Apteryx-images\ path or a \converter\patients\ path. This path should match the current path of that folder.
Confirm correct Apteryx credentials were used during initial conversion by opening the push-delloop.bat in notepad and confirming URL after "certs"
-
Running the Converter
In the converter folder, launch Apteryx Imaging Converter.exe as Administrator
Do not change any information on this screen! We need to keep all paths and prefixes (if applicable) the same as they were during the initial conversion.
Click on Select Application to Convert
-
Choose appropriate software option. Refer to software's page in Imaging Systems section of this OneNote for guidance on additional prompts/options, and refer to Zendesk ticket notes.
NOTE: We should be choosing the same folder naming convention and ID options as used for the initial.
Do not change any paths in the last screen!
Confirm that in the dropdown menu for Images to be Converted, "Convert only files that have not been added to the conversion cache" should be selected
For most conversions, you can check the box next to Skip patient and image verification screens in the Miscellaneous Options section.
Click OK at the bottom of the window to begin the conversion
-
Starting XVHost Push
