This customer is extremely unique in that they do not use Apteryx as a PACS today. This one of Apteryx' longest standing accounts. They strictly use DCV to take dental images with dental imaging devices and they host their own imaging data. Generally, all you do for the military is support DCV over phone call and walking them through support steps. Some have been provided a license-free version of DCV specific to the DoD.
Each branch of the military can be very different from how another branch of the military implements and uses DCV. Unsure if they are using the same PACS and/or VNA across branches. In one example from 10/2024, they use DCV to take images and XVHost2 to forward them to their Acuo VNA(Vendor Neutral Archive).
