Adding Additional Apteryx Forwarding to XVCapture

As more AI integrations and Apteryx features become available, Sales may need to add more demo sites to their XVCapture installs. Following the below steps will add the new site to your forwarding list and will forward test images taken to all sites listed in your Forwarding Settings.

  1. Open XVCapture and select Advanced User Tools > Preferences

    In the password box type AKRON and click OK

  3. Select DICOM on the left-hand side

    Scroll to and click on Configure DICOM Servers

    Click on Add

    Fill out the necessary information. The Server Nickname is whatever makes sense for your use case (for example, the Pearl AI site can just be called Pearl). Server AE Title is the beginning of the Apteryx site (for example, https://pearlintegration.Apteryx.net/ would be pearlintegration). Server IP is dicom.Apteryx.net. Server Port is 2762

    Click the Encryption tab at the top of the window and change Encryption to TLS. Then click on the 3 dots next to the TSL Certificate Filename box

    Download the certificate Zip files for the necessary site (located at the bottom of this article)

  9. The files should automatically save to your Downloads folder. Navigate there, right-click the file, and choose Extract All…

    Choose where you want the extracted files to go on the next screen. I recommend putting them somewhere where they won’t be accidentally deleted and you will remember the location.

  11. Go back to XVCapture and navigate to the newly created folder with the certificate files, select the file that shows up, and click Open.

    Click Verify and you should see a “Success” message. If the message says something else, click OK and verify again. If it fails a second time, contact someone on Apteryx Imaging Support for assistance.

    Click OK 4 times to get back to the main XVCapture Window

    Go to Advanced User Tools > Preferences and type the AKRON password again

  15. This time, select Image Forwarding on the left-hand side

    Select the unchecked box in the “Images should be forwarded to the following servers” box and click OK

  17. Now all images taken should forward to all off the above checked Apteryx sites with the same images and same Test Patient Information.
