If the practice is using Apteryx Online Capture, please inform them during the discovery phase that the following requirements/dependencies MUST be installed prior to integrating Schick sensors with Apteryx Online Capture. Please note that XVC does not require IOSS to be installed, and installing the IOSS will break the connection between the Schick drivers and XVC. It is prudent that this is identified as early on in the implementations process as possible to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.

For customers using Schick/Sirona IO devices with Apteryx Online Capture, please ensure the following are installed prior to implementing:

1. Schick/Sirona Intraoral Sensor Software (IOSS)

2. Schick/Sirona Device Drivers

   1. Drivers can also be found on Schick’s driver download page. Please ensure the correct drivers are installed based off the sensor model the practice is using.
