Per recent testing, it is impossible to get DG to grab DOB and gender using sniffer only as outlined below. DG will also grab a "#" in the ID number, which causes mismatches in Apteryx or creates a duplicate patient if bridging to XVCapture. This means the office would need to manually enter DOB and gender, as well as remove the “#” from the ID.
Due to these issues, it is recommended the office reach out to OMSVision to get their internal bridge working - If OMS can only bridge to Apteryx, interop can be used as well to seal the gap on capture computers. (OMSVision > Apteryx > XVCapture)
