Purpose
A site isolation segregates the tenant onto its own pool so as not to affect its neighbors. Teams channel. If you do not have access, please request your supervisor to ensure a request is submitted. Engineering cannot guarantee the turnaround time on fulfilling a request, but will complete the isolation as soon as possible.
Un-isolated Site Behavior
A high number of images being submitted to an Apteryx site or a change to a large number of existing images in the database can cause slowness for all tenants sharing the elastic pool. The slowness is typically denoted by a delay in image load times, as well as a delay in image storage and retrieval.
How to Request a Site Isolation
A site isolation request can be made in the Engineering & Client Experience | Ask Apteryx Developers | Microsoft Teams. The request to have the isolator built into Sites Dash is tracked here [XVSD-206] Isolator MVP - JIRA (atlassian.net)
