The DigiDoc Blu sensor can now be used within XVCapture via the latest version of the CCB TWAIN extension (CCB TWAIN 2.0.0), available on our downloads page: https://apteryximaging.planetdds.com/hc/en-us/articles/4412758829595-Current-Imaging-Downloads
Steps to install:
Download the CCB TWAIN 2.0.0 Installer and run it to install the extension and supporting files
Launch XVCapture
Go to Advanced User Tools > Preferences (password is AKRON) > Imaging Extensions > Digital x-ray image capture > CloudPluginBridge
Go to Hardware Settings and specify the directory to Apteryx.Plugins.Bridge folder (typically C:\Apteryx\XVCapture\Apteryx.Plugins.Bridge)
Go to Image Quality settings > Modify Post Capture Filters
Select Filter Options > Add New Filter > Rotate 90 degrees counter-clockwise filter, then click OK
Click OK all the way back out to the main screen of XVCapture
Workflow:
Plug sensor in, open XVCapture
Capture Images > Capture Images
Select "CloudPluginBridge" option
Select a layout
Start progression, pick TwainCapture from device selection, click activate
The digidoc interface will appear - select a template within the interface's "template" dropdown to match the progression being used within XVCapture
Click "capture" to begin the capture process
Capture all needed images within the TWAIN interface without backing out to XVCapture
Once finished, click "import all" - all images will import one by one into XVCapture's layout
Click Save once that finishes to store and forward the images
Note: If “TwainCapture” does not appear in the device selection list within the CCB TWAIN, check to verify the TWAIN is installed using irfan view or twacker. If the TWAIN does not appear there either, the client will need to reach out to DigiDoc to get the TWAIN and drivers installed.
