Location Management enabled customers can now choose whether to have their Apteryx filters automatically apply per location.
This can be useful if one location’s images converted with filters applied and another did not (this can happen if one office used Real Time Filters and another office used Post Capture Filters).
The actual enhancements are still sitewide. For example, if you create a Eaglesoft converted images RTF, it would always be available sitewide/all locations. Location Management can only control the automatic application of the filters that exist in their site.
The location always trumps the site setting for always show enhanced:
If the site is set to on, and the location is set to off - If the user has the location selected then images will not be automatically enhanced.
If the site is set to off and the location is set to on - if the user has the location selected then images will be automatically enhanced.
If the site is set to on and the location is set to inherit - then images will be automatically enhanced
If the site is set to off and the location is set to inherit - then images will not be automatically enhanced
Enabling location-specific image quality settings

Capture station assignment is not necessary, unless the office is also using AI or Analytics.
First, select the office you’d like to enable “always show enhanced images” on from the Location drop-down, then click the name in the upper-right corner and select Settings
Then, choose Location Settings
Then select the appropriate option
*Note: Inherit pulls the setting from the Site Settings page.
Once done, make sure to select the correct location from the drop down in Apteryx. If this is not set to the location you’ve adjusted Always Show Enhanced Images on as noted above, the changes you made will not apply. Setting the location drop down must be once done per workstation, as this will be remembered by the browser’s cookies.
