If needing to validate if a client’s hardware will work or not in Apteryx Online Capture, captureeval.Apteryx.net should be used in lieu of enabling Apteryx Online Capture on the customer’s live Apteryx URL.
captureeval.Apteryx.net is a test URL where Apteryx Online Capture is already enabled and intended to be used as a testing sandbox, allowing technicians to temporarily install and test Apteryx Online Capture in a client' environment without enabling Apteryx Online Capture in their live environment.
When using this site to test Apteryx Online Capture’s functionality with a client, the following should never be done:
Using any actual PHI - test patients only!
Leaving yourself signed in - always sign out of the site manually before disconnecting from the client’s workstation.
Leaving Apteryx Online Capture installed along with the pfx cert to http://captureeval.Apteryx.net - Apteryx Online Capture should be fully uninstalled and the cert removed post-testing.

Steps to use:
On the client’s workstation where you will be testing Apteryx Online Capture, navigate to captureeval.Apteryx.net and sign in.
Install Apteryx Online Capture as normal, including all necessary plugins.
Test Apteryx Online Capture and the client’s devices as needed.

Once done with testing:
Uninstall Apteryx Online Capture from Control Panel
Verify cert no longer exists in C:\PlanetDDS\Apteryx Online Capture\AppCommonFiles\certs (uninstall should remove this folder)
Log out of captureeval.Apteryx.net (Click username > log out)
If you found your tests were successful in captureeval.Apteryx.net, Apteryx Online Capture then can be enabled and installed within the client’s live environment.
