You can update Apteryx Online Capture by either following the Installation steps or by the pop-up notification that automatically appears in the bottom-right corner of the capture window when an update is available.
You will have a few seconds to click the pop-up. Once you click the pop-up, it will download the latest version and open an installer on the desktop.
Click the update and it should begin the update or it will pop up another window with “Cloud Capture and/or Twain Runner is running. Close program(s) and continue install?“. If you see the pop-up previously mentioned, click yes to continue updating.
Another box will pop up saying “An install already exists. Overwrite it with a new version?”. Click yes.
Depending on the number of plugins, the scope of the update, and/or internet speed; the install may take some time. There is a progress bar in green that will fill up entirely when complete. You will also see a dialog that states “Install complete. You may now close the installer.“. You can exit the window by clicking the X in the upper-right corner.
